For some, summer is a time for relaxation, venturing outdoors, and recharging after a long winter. For us at the Fritter Shop, summer is one of our busiest times of the year! It’s GO GO GO all summer long! From the shop to the markets to all the events in between, we’re always on the go.
…And we wouldn’t have it any other way! We love the summer because it means so many more opportunities for us to connect with you and share the love of fritters.
So, where can you find us this summer?
1. UWO Farmer’s Market Tuesdays 9 AM – 2 PM
We kick off our weeks at the UWO Farmer’s Market located right on Western’s beautiful campus. No student ID required – you don’t have to be a student to stop by and enjoy the local vendors. But fritters do make a nice study break snack if you happen to be on campus for summer courses!
2. Masonville Farmer’s Market Fridays 8 AM – 1 PM
Nothing says summer like the Masonville Farmer’s Market! After a shopping trip to Masonville mall, step into the parking lot for some amazing local produce as well as a variety of other vendors (including some yummy fritters served by yours truly).
3. Horton Farmer’s Market Saturdays 8 AM – 12 PM
On Saturdays, we like to hang in the place where it all started, St. Thomas! You can find us every Saturday at the Horton Farmer’s Market, along with other local artisans and vendors.
4. Art in the Barn July 13 – 14
Taking place in Dorchester, ON, Art in the Barn is Southwestern Ontario’s largest summer arts and crafts festival and we’ll be there, serving fritters the whole weekend!
And as always, we’ll be in our regular spots…
5. The Market at Western Fair District Saturdays 8 AM – 3 PM / Sundays 10 AM – 2 PM
Spend your weekends with us at the WFD Market! You can find us there on Saturdays and Sundays all year long!
6. The Fritter Shop (St. Thomas) Mon – Wed 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM / Thurs – Sat 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM / Sun 10 AM – 4 PM
Of course, our St. Thomas location is open every day of the week if you can’t make it to one of the markets!
